Mrs. Druckemiller’s second-grade students took their learning outdoors to explore the beautiful fall colors surrounding their school. Students investigated nearby leaves and trees while learning about the science behind why leaves change color in the fall. By observing nature up close, our young scientists had the opportunity to ask questions, make discoveries, and experience their learning beyond the classroom.
