West Forest Students Study Plate Tectonics

Mrs. Olson’s 7th-grade science students recently brought earth science to life by using everyday materials to model plate tectonics. Using cardboard, poster board, sponges, and shaving cream, students created hands-on demonstrations to explore how Earth’s plates move and interact at their boundaries.
