West Forest 9th-grade Environmental Science students and members of the Envirothon team recently celebrated Earth Day with a field experience at Cook Forest State Park. Throughout the day, students engaged in a variety of hands-on activities, including presentations on local wildlife and interactive lessons focused on tree identification. They also explored a nearby creek, discovering and learning about the diverse species that inhabit the ecosystem.
