West Forest Sixth-Grade Students Compete in Egg Elimination Project

Before Easter break, our West Forest 6th-grade Science and STEM students put the Laws of Motion to the ultimate test with an exciting Egg Elimination Project! Each student designed and built a box to protect a raw egg that met specific criteria and prepared the egg for the big challenge, colliding with another student’s box. Suspended from the ceiling, the boxes swung into action as students eagerly watched to see whose design would withstand the impact. Several eggs survived the first round and advanced to additional matchups, but in the end, Aspen Ellenberger’s design came out on top as the overall winner!
