West Forest second-grade students recently participated in the 18th Annual Progressive Agriculture Safety Day at the Clarion County Park. Throughout the day, students rotated through 16 interactive stations that provided hands-on learning experiences in an outdoor classroom setting focused on environmental and farm safety. Students explored a wide variety of topics, including sun safety, gardening, large and small farm animals, Lyme disease awareness, first aid, honey bees, and many other important safety lessons.
