Mrs. Alex’s 1st Grade class discussed Thanksgiving traditions. Mrs. Alex and Ms. Johnson had students make character balloons similar to the balloons that are paraded on Thanksgiving Day. Students then held a mini-parade in their classroom. Parents were also invited into the classroom to participate in making Christmas decorations. Students worked with parents, Ms. Johnson, Mrs. Kennedy, and Mrs. Alex to create several Christmas decorations that they can take home and share with their families.
