This month celebrate…
Family Stories Month (November 2021)
Throughout the month, use family meals and gatherings to share stories about special times or adventures. We can learn a lot about people when we listen to one another tell our stories. The power of a story is so strong because it helps us to better understand how others view the world and what makes them unique. Collect stories by creating a family story jar; every time a story is shared, invite the family member to write it on a piece of paper to store in the jar! Choose a special time when the family is all together to open the jar and re-read those special stories.
