Forest Area students, faculty, and staff showed their support for living drug-free by wearing red during Red Ribbon Week. The color red symbolizes courage and a shared commitment to making healthy, safe choices. This nationwide campaign encourages young people to take a stand against drug and alcohol abuse while promoting awareness and prevention in schools and communities.
This year, with the help of Commissioner Kline, red shirts were provided through the Forest County Opioid Fund. They highlight the community’s continued efforts to support prevention education and raise awareness about the impact of substance use. The shirts proudly display the message: “Forest Area – Living my Best Life – Alcohol Free, Tobacco Free, Opioid Free.” Together, our school community proudly demonstrated that we are “Red-y” to make a difference!
