In Mrs. Smail’s West Forest 6th-grade math class, students brought math to life with a creative game using Uno cards to build the digits of pi. On each turn, students had to play a card matching the next digit in the sequence. If they didn’t have the correct number, they drew a card and passed their turn to the next player. Through teamwork and a little friendly competition, the class successfully worked its way through an impressive 106 digits of pi. This was an engaging and memorable way to strengthen both math skills and collaboration!
