Meet Jessica Kennedy, Art Teacher
Jessica Kennedy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2024 and earned her PreK–12 Art Education certification in 2026. She brings two years of experience teaching to her new role as the art teacher at Forest Area School District.
Jessie is excited to begin this new chapter and share her lifelong love of art and creativity with Forest Area students. Art has always been a constant in her life – a place where she feels comfortable, confident, and at home.
Forest Area has always held a special place in Jessie’s heart. She attended school in the district herself, and she is now proud to have her own children attend Forest Area schools. She is grateful for the opportunity to give back to the school community that has been such an important part of her life.
Jessie looks forward to working with students across all grade levels, from PreK through 12th grade, helping them explore their creativity, develop their artistic skills, and express themselves through art. She also hopes to use her new role to strengthen the connection between Forest Area schools and the surrounding community.
