Meet Jennifer Myler, Forest Area’s new school counselor!
Dr. Jennifer Myler is excited to join Forest Area School District as the new school counselor. Her career began as a middle school social studies teacher in the Warren County School District. Along the way, she earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling and later a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State University. For the past 15 years, she has had the privilege of teaching and mentoring students at Penn State, and she is excited to bring what she’s learned to serve the students and families of Forest Area.
Outside of school, Jennifer loves spending time with her family and their golden retriever, Charlie, as well as traveling to experience new places and cultures. She looks forward to listening, learning, and working alongside the students, staff, and families of Forest Area to support every student’s growth, both in and out of the classroom.
