Forest County is looking for volunteers to become Emergency Medical Technicians. Classes will be held beginning August 30 and end in early January on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 PM to 10 PM at the Clarion University. There will be one weekend class. The Forest County Commissioners will pay for this training as long as the student agrees to give two years of volunteer service to either the Tionesta or Marienville ambulance service. Anyone in the community can sign up to participate in this training. Forest Area school students who complete the training can earn credit toward graduation.
