Forest Area School District’s fifth- and ninth-grade students recently had the opportunity to visit the Venango Technology Center to learn about the many career and technical education programs available to them. During their visit, students explored a variety of shops and learned about the hands-on training and career pathways offered at the center. These experiences help students begin thinking about their interests, discovering new possibilities, and planning for their futures both at Forest Area and beyond. Ninth-grade students interested in attending the Venango Technology Center will have another opportunity to visit in the spring, when they can spend time exploring two shops of their choice.
