Forest Area Schools will offer summer learning opportunities for students who have completed grades K – 6 this year. We are planning to offer four weeks of day camp with a theme for each week at the MACA building in Marienville in cooperation with Focus on Forest’s Future (FFF). Transportation from Tionesta will be provided along with breakfast, lunch and a snack. During a typical day, students will participate in hands-on learning activities in the morning while the afternoon will be more focused on recreational activities such as swimming and field trips.
The cost for the camp is $60.00/week which is primarily to cover the cost of the lifeguard, some of the materials for crafting and defray the field trip costs. All students are encouraged to apply for scholarship funding by completing the scholarship question at the end of this survey.
Applications for camp and scholarship award status will be sent home to students interested in participating.
