On October 30th, seven students from East Forest HS, who are members of the Forest Area Student Historians Club, supported the annual Veterans Hunt, sponsored by the Veterans Club of Forest County and arranged by Mr. Ernest Hartwig, retired Master Sergeant Special Forces and current Social Studies teacher. Students assisted in placing pheasants and chukars in the fields at Buzzard Swamp in preparation for the veterans and then accompanied them into the field.
