On January 25th, the East Forest FCCLA Chapter along with the Mighty Mini Relay Team held a Purple Out event during the Forest Fires and Keystone Panthers Varsity Boys Basketball game.
The purpose of this event was to: improve community awareness about cancer, raise money for the local American Cancer Society, and help our school community give back to the local community. $945 dollars were raised through the sales of: T-shirt and purple ribbon sales, basket and 50/50 raffles along with gate tickets.
