East Forest Open House
At the Open House for East Forest last week, the school was visited by many of the students, their families and community members. The Marienville Volunteer Fire Company sent a truck, as well as some members to talk to the students and community members about their services. They brought a lot of equipment for the kids to try out, and they gave demonstrations and allowed the kids to check out some of their gear. Abraxas brought a food truck, there was popcorn and snacks in the gym as well. Some other agencies were there, including the Literacy Council, the local 4H Club, the Marienville Library, OVR and the Boy Scouts.
