The East Forest National Honor Society, in partnership with the East Forest school staff, the Bigfoot Festival Committee, and the Clarion American Legion, organized a reverse food drive to support local families during the holiday season. Through the initiative, every East Forest family had the opportunity to receive a bag filled with essential items for a traditional holiday meal. Members of the East Forest National Honor Society assembled the bags, which were distributed on the Thursday prior to Thanksgiving.
