East Forest Fifth Grade Explores Bear Town Rocks

The 5th grade class from East Forest School spent an unforgettable day exploring the outdoors during their field trip to Clear Creek State Park last month. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting Bear Town Rocks, where students climbed massive boulders and posed for a group photo at the top. Afterward, they hit the trails for a scenic hike through the forest, where they discovered and signed a hidden geocache. The group then gathered for a picnic lunch, enjoying grilled hotdogs and some well-earned relaxation under the trees.

The fun didn’t stop there! On their way home, the class made a stop at Farmer’s Inn for an exciting afternoon of mini-golf, visits with animals at the petting zoo, and plenty of sweet ice cream treats. From climbing rocks and exploring nature to laughing with friends and cooling off with dessert, the East Forest 5th graders had a day full of adventure, learning, and lasting memories.
