~East Forest and West Forest Schools will be hosting Veterans Day Programs~
East Forest School Veterans Day Program:
East Forest Elementary and Secondary Schools will be honoring Forest County Veterans on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025. The student council will be hosting the assembly in the East Forest Gymnasium at 8:30 a.m. to honor the men and women who have served. Pennsylvania State Senator Scott Hutchinson and Master Sergeant, U.S. Army Retired, Mr. Hartwig, will be among the guest speakers for the morning. East Forest elementary and high school students will be performing musical selections and reading student essay contest winners. Following the assembly, the students will have an opportunity to personally thank the veterans. The veterans and their families are then invited to a reception of light refreshments. All Veterans, their families, and members of the Forest Area Community are welcome to attend.
West Forest School Veterans Day Program:
West Forest Elementary and Secondary Schools will be honoring Forest County veterans on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025. The school will be hosting an assembly in the West Forest High School gymnasium beginning at 8:30 AM to honor men and women who have served our Country. State Representative Kathy Rapp will be among the guest speakers. Forest Area students will be performing patriotic music selections and reading student essays. Following the conclusion of the ceremony, West Forest students will have an opportunity to personally thank those who have served. After the program, there will be a reception with light refreshments for all Forest County veterans and their families. All veterans, their families, and members of the Forest Area Community are welcome to attend. Please use the back doors at the HS gym entrance.
