The American Legion Post 066 of Clarion made a generous donation to Miss Emily Logue’s Pre-K and Kindergarten students at East Forest School. Every student in her class will receive one book a month from Scholastic Books for the rest of the school year, courtesy of the club. The students will be able to build a love for books and reading because of this amazing gift. The children were so excited to get their first books and can’t wait for the next installment. Her class is so fortunate to have an organization such as the American Legion to promote education and help foster a love of reading and learning. Thank you to all Veterans!
