Forest Area School District was pleased to host the Warren Forest Hi-Ed LEGO Robotics Camp from June 22–25. Throughout the week, students explored coding, programming, and engineering while building their own LEGO robotic creations. Using diagrams and coding instructions, students designed, constructed, and programmed their robots before testing them through a variety of challenges, paths, and obstacles. The camp, led by Mrs. Olson and Mrs. Sharrar, also included a field trip to Forest Scientific, where students learned about the innovative work involved in designing and manufacturing advanced CNC machinery. The program was sponsored, in part, by the J Bowman Proper Charitable Trust.
