Mr. Brown’s 10th-grade Cell Biology students recently explored how to identify simple sugars through hands-on experimentation! Using Benedict’s reagent, students first tested solutions with known sugar concentrations to observe the results. They then applied what they learned to test a variety of food and drink items to determine which contained simple sugars.
