Meet Rachel Vaughn, First Grade Teacher
Rachel Vaughn was raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Lucinda. After graduating from McDowell High School in 2016, she continued her education at Slippery Rock University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education in May 2020.
Rachel began her teaching career in the Millcreek School District, where she taught preschool and kindergarten. She later moved to Lucinda and taught third grade at St. Joseph School. She is excited to begin a new chapter as the first grade teacher at West Forest and to become part of the Forest Area School District community.
Outside of the classroom, Rachel enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, walking her German Shepherd, Niko, and spending time with friends and family.
Rachel is looking forward to a wonderful school year filled with learning, growth, and lots of fun. She is excited to get to know her students and families and make her first year at Forest Area a great one!
