West Forest Fifth and Sixth Grade Students Explore Pittsburgh

West Forest 5th and 6th-grade students spent Friday, May 22, exploring several exciting destinations throughout Pittsburgh. The day began with a visit to Mount Washington, where students rode the historic incline and enjoyed spectacular views of the city. Students then visited the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, where they explored a variety of fascinating exhibits and learned about history, science, and the natural world. The adventure continued at the Carnegie Science Center, where students experienced an IMAX presentation, toured a real submarine, watched an entertaining laser show, and explored the many interactive exhibits throughout the center. The trip provided students with memorable hands-on learning experiences and a wonderful opportunity to explore all that Pittsburgh has to offer. This field trip was made possible by the J Bowman Proper Charitable Trust.
