East Forest Schools participated in America 250 activities this week as well. They began with patriotic music led by the elementary students and selected high school students. Then, Mr. Hartwig took the students through the history that led up to 1776. Various students interjected with quotes from famous Americans or moments in history. Then, high school students held sessions on the high school side of the building geared towards elementary students. In the afternoon, it was the elementary students’ turn to teach the high school students through a Living museum. It was truly a great day of learning and student leadership.
