Position: Playground Monitors Job Posting – Summer Playground – West Forest School May 2026
Location: West Forest School & East Forest School
Hours: 10:00 AM – 2 PM
Responsibilities: As a Playground Monitor, you will be responsible for the active supervision of school-aged children during outdoor and indoor recreational periods. Key responsibilities include:
● Providing structured play and organizing age-appropriate games.
● Actively engaging with students to ensure participation in fun, inclusive activities.
● Maintaining a high level of safety through constant monitoring and conflict resolution.
● Ensuring all students follow playground safety protocols and school conduct codes.
Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience working with children in a group setting.
● Strong knowledge of child safety practices.
● Physical Ability: Must be able to remain on your feet for extended periods, move quickly across the playground, and work in various weather conditions.
● Ability to pass all required background clearances.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Current or aspiring Education Majors or those in child-centered fields of study.
● Current CPR and First Aid Certifications.
● Additional certifications related to childcare or physical education.
