Forest Area Student Historians Visit Baltimore and Philadelphia

Forest Area Student Historians recently returned from a trip through Baltimore and Philadelphia. In Baltimore, students explored Fort McHenry, stepped aboard the historic USS Constellation, discovered marine life at the National Aquarium, and capped off the day with an exciting experience at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. The trip continued in Philadelphia, where students toured Eastern State Penitentiary and visited the battleship USS New Jersey. They then immersed themselves in America’s founding at the National Constitution Center, Independence Hall, the Museum of the American Revolution, and Valley Forge National Historical Park. From historic landmarks to hands-on experiences, students and chaperones alike had an incredible time learning, exploring, and making lasting memories together.
