West Forest Third Graders Study the Weather

Mrs. Schmidt’s West Forest third-grade science class is exploring the effects of weather on the environment. As part of their study, students investigated wind and its impact on homes. They then applied their learning by designing and engineering model houses built to withstand strong windstorms.
