This past fall, 9th grade students at East and West Forest entered designs to the 2023 Governor’s STEM logo design competition. Out of more than 60 submissions across Pennsylvania, 3 winners were chosen. Two of the state winners for their STEM logo designs were 9th grade students from West Forest: Gabbi Araujo and Esther Forker. On April 19, 2023, Gabbi and Esther traveled with their Art teacher, Miss Michelle Mazur, to PaTTAN in Harrisburg to be recognized during the STEM competition festivities. Congratulations to both students for their achievements!
