This year, PA’s Homeless Education Week has some exciting events going on!
November 15 – 19 has been designated Homeless Education Awareness Week in Pennsylvania.
- November 19th is the day designated to wear RED. Take a photo or even just a “selfie!” and share it to the PA ECYEH Facebook page.
- PA ECYEH would like to invite you to attend a live virtual event, Wednesday, November 17, from 9 AM -11 AM. The first hour and a half will be a presentation of the original play “I Will Be Your Voice, Stories of Homelessness and Hope.” These stories are true stories read by students to be the voice of students experiencing homelessness. After the play, they will have a panel of youth to discuss McKinney-Vento, the impact homelessness has on students, and will answer any questions participants wish to ask.
