West Forest

Welcome to West Forest! 

I am very excited to have the opportunity to serve as the Acting Principal at West Forest. I have been fortunate to be a part of this district for almost sixteen years, and I care deeply about our students, staff, and community. I recognize that the last couple of years have been extremely challenging for all of us. Our students have experienced a variety of challenges during these difficult times including school closures, schedule changes, and many uncertainties. Despite these challenges, they have learned many valuable skills that will benefit them later in life such as problem solving, adaptability, technology skills, and how to be an advocate for themselves. 

We appreciate the support the students and teachers have received from parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family friends who have helped ensure that our students are successful. This has often meant being very flexible and creative, especially when the students have been at home learning remotely. Your support is greatly appreciated and vital to the success of the students. 

I am looking forward to the rest of the school year and watching the continued growth of our students. Thank you for your continued support.
