Forest Area Competes at Robotics Tournament

Forest Area Schools sent 4 teams (2 East Forest, 2 West Forest) to Clarion University on Friday Feb 22 to compete in the area Robotics Championship for PA Rural Robotics Initiative. There were 36 teams in attendance. The top teams in the qualifying matches then formed alliances to compete in the finals (similar to the NCAA March Madness brackets). All four of our teams made it to the Final Rounds. Three made it to the quarterfinals. One team made it to semifinals and then to the final game. West Forest Team A formed an alliance with a VTC team and played against the number 1 ranked alliance of 2 North Clarion teams earning them a spot in the PA Eastern State Championship on March 9, 2019 at Keystone Oaks High School. Come down, root for our area schools  and see what it’s all about!
